OUR FOOD

The cuisine of Southern Morocco is world famous and truly delicious. The Marrakechis are superb cooks and there is a wonderful variety of vegetables, fruit, fish, shellfish, meat and poultry. All bookings include the following: (a few menu examples included)

fresh orange juice, cereals, croissants, home made breads, fresh fruit, yoghurt and eggs (laid by our own hens).

two-course lunch

 

home made ravioli, pasta with various sauces, Moroccan hamburgers, tuna Nicoise salad, chicken Caesar salad, quiche, many assorted salads including lettuce from our garden, followed by home-made ice creams/sorbets.

three-course dinner

cold/hot soups, goats cheese bruschetta, cheese souffle, avocado/tomato mousse, Moroccan tagines of chicken, lamb, beef, whole baked fish, chicken/seafood pastilla. Fruit salad,lemon/chocolate/strawberry mousse, crème caramel/brulé, a variety of fruit tarts.

 
 

Bottled water is also included. Dietary requirements should be discussed with staff in advance of your trip. Alcohol and soft drinks are not included in the price. Morocco produces some very drinkable wine (rosé gris, white, red) which will be provided and charged at the end of your stay along with any cost for beer. Wine costs c. £8 per bottle upwards. Whilst spirits & champagne can be provided, they are costly to buy in Marrakech. Guests are therefore encouraged to bring duty free spirits & champagne.
